1. Research Interests

The role of amyloidosis in Alzheimer’s disease, experimental modelling of Alzheimer’s disease-type behavioural deterioration, pharmacological interventions in Alzheimer’ disease.

Ongoing projects;
Reduction of neuroinflammation as a treatment strategy in Alzheimer’ disease; the utility of anti-oxidant compounds in the treatment of Alzheimer’ disease symptoms; effects of synaptic deterioration following neuronal exposure to Ab  oligomers.
